Kim was “bitten by the fitness bug†in 2001 after the birth of her second child. After vowing to return to her “before marriage†dress size of an 8, she learned how to incorporate daily exercise and nutrition into her lifestyle and never looked back. The change in her body and energy level was so motivating, she was determined to show others how exercise and eating right could change their lives. She is currently a Certified Personal Trainer through Interactive Fitness Trainers of America (IFTA).
She previously worked as a Fitness Instructor at Steele Creek YMCA, Bally Total Fitness and Mountain Island Fitness—all in Charlotte, NC. She presently works as a group fitness instructor, personal trainer, and group fitness coordinator at Peak Fitness in Apex, NC.
Her future plans include an exercise video and to achieve national recognition as a Master Group Exercise Instructor and Trainer.
