Kristie Riester

I started teaching Aqua Aerobics as a Lifeguard/Water Safety Instructor when I was 18 years old. I was thrown into it when the regular instructor went on vacation and I fell in love with it! When I went to college I started teaching at the University of Arizona Campus Recreation. There I learned to teach a full range of classes such as Hi Lo, Step, Core, and Strength/Weight Training. I was encouraged to obtain my ACE Group Fitness Instructor Certification so I did. When I graduated I became the Aquatics Manager for the Town of Oro Valley and here I have also obtained training to teach arthritic classes. I love working with a variety of people with different skill and fitness levels. I am very outgoing and I love to motvate people to become fit.
