Pauline Vandermoor

My name is Pauline Vandermoor.  I have been teaching health and wellness/fitness classes since 1984.  My original company was called Iron Mountain Fitness and Athletic Event Management.  I created and led many outdoor-based fitness programs including running and walking clinics, as well as created and led numerous group fitness classes for all levels of participants using the stability ball for strength and stretch, Pilates and Yoga and ball drumming.  In 1998 I became a Personal Trainer.

I began my yoga teacher training in 2010 first becoming a Yoga Fitness Leader, and then a Yoga Alliance 200 hour Yoga Teacher in 2016. 

Currently I am the owner/operator of Pauline Vandermoor Fitness and Yoga.  I hold several contracts and teach community-based low impact cardio and low impact cardio dance, strength and stretch, low impact cardio and strength intervals, step, ball fitness, Yogalates, Yoga Fitness fusion, Beginner Yoga and Chair Yoga, as well as private studio-based Hatha, Vinyassa, Yin/Yang, Yin and Restorative Yoga.

As I am self-employed, I have flexibility over my teaching schedule but I typically teach two or three classes a day Monday-Friday from mid September to early December with several weeks off between Christmas and New Year, then January to mid March with a two-three week break, then April to early June.  During the summer I do more private and out of town teaching.
