I have been an athlete since grade school. I still play competitive volleyball and look for opportunities to expand my athletic experience. After the birth of my first child in 2000 I found group exercise and quickly fell in love. The energy and fun of working out to great music and inspiring others to keep going when they may not "be feeling it" is something I crave every day. My group fitness journey began taking and then teaching Step aerobics. I quickly added water aerobics, kid fitness, and Silver Sneakers to my resume. Since then I've had 2 more children and added strength training, cycle, and numerous variations of studio formats. Fitness is now my career as I am a full time studio manager and I continue to teach at least 7 classes a week.
