StefanieK Karst

Born and raised in the south of Germany, I used to train in Vaulting competitively, where I also discovered Yoga for the first time at an age of 7 since we combined it with our training routine. 

Doing my time in school I did a lot of sports ranging from dancing and vaulting to beach volleyball, rope skipping, skiing and snowboarding. Moving away from home and starting university made me focus more on Yoga, since competitive and team sports were hard to combine with the constant change of the university schedule. 

I studied my Bachelor's in Media and Communication Science in Hamburg, Germany, from September 2013 to July 2016. After that I took a little break were I got to travel to Sri Lanka, Canada and the USA. In February 2017 I moved to Amsterdam, Netherlands, and studied my Master's in Entertainment Communications. While I waited for my graduation, I travelled to Thailand to get my Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga 200h RYT certification from the wonderful Jennifer Yarro / Frog Lotus Yoga. I now live back in Hamburg and work as a communication consultant at a global media agency and teach yoga part-time.
