The short story about how I came to be a yoga teacher is this-  I spent a lot of years not loving myself and my body.  When I first practiced yoga in my 20s it felt more like a gesture of compassion to myself than anything I had ever done.  After my second child was born I once again found myself in a darker place than where I wanted to live my life.  Turns out being a grown up and raising kids can be hard, somewhere in there I lost myself…  Yoga brought me back.  This time with a clearer purpose to not just give myself this gift but a passionate desire to share it with everyone.  I am a Experienced 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) through Yoga Alliance and currently working on my 500-hour Advanced Teacher certification.

When I first heard about stand up paddle board (SUP) yoga I KNEW it was part of my path.  SUP gives me a way to marry my passions.  There is nothing that I have experienced that brings me a stronger connection to nature, it’s almost like walking on water… leaving nothing more than a ripple in my wake.  Profound peace.

I decided to start my own business so that I would have the flexibility to create unique and custom experiences for my clients.  It brings me great pride to show my kids that with hard work and passion it is possible create the life we love.  My hope is that all of my clients feel how deeply I care about what I am doing… and maybe have a little fun along the way!
