James grew up in the state of Oregon and has always enjoyed being active. Whether in the gym training or enjoying nature as a training ground, he has always seen the value of functional fitness. Coming from a family of wrestlers he followed suit and wrestled competitively in freestyle and greco roman style since he was 6 years old. After wrestling for many years he began to follow other forms of fitness such as cross country running, circuit training, and lifting weights. James is a certified personal trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine. He is actively involved in one-on-one personal training, leading small group fitness classes, creating bootcamp style group exercise classes, TRX training, pilates and Youth Fitness classes. His passion is seeing the community being actively involved in leading a healthy lifestyle.
