April Emin

Hi, My name is April Emin, I live in Yarmouth, a small town in Nova Scotia, Canada where I grew up. I am a mother of 2 beautiful children, a 20 year old daughter , and 19 year old son.  Happily married for 22 years to a man who is also a born and bred Yarmouthian. I work full-time as a Registered Dental Assistant. My husband and I with our kids have always been fit conscious.  I did triathlon for many years, but with knee injuries from other sports along the way I decided to try yoga to hopefully extend my walking days in order to enjoy life and retirement one day.

In 2014 I started my yoga journey, walking into a Baptiste yoga studio in my home town.  The trial offer was a 7 day unlimited membership.  I tried it for 7 days, and liked it, so then purchased a month long membership.  After a month I was hooked.  After 2 years and half years of steady practice I decided I would like to share my love yoga, so I decided to take my 200 hour teacher training.
