I am a health care professional with fitness experience looking to grow professionally in the fitness realm, and to combine my passion and love of exercise and sport with my love for travel.  I met one of your members on vacation who taught the yoga/pilates morning class on the beach, and this experience has inspired me to combine these interests. 

I have always been an athlete, followed good nutrition, and have incorporated fitness and activity into my daily life.  Taking a vacation means getting the chance to exercise in a warmer and usually more beautiful climate, so I hardly ever have a truly lazy vacation.  I try to inspire patients every day, including my family and friends, to live an active and healthy lifestyle.  Encouraging those around me to want to feel good, not just look good, is what drives me.  Fitness and good health come from within, and there is an athlete in all of us. 

I have learned new exercise techniques each year with my career, while new devices, equipment or principles are continuously added to my arsenal.  With my primary career having been focused in healthcare in sports medicine as an Athletic Trainer, I know how to avoid injury safely, and to tailor workouts or programs to each individual's personal needs.  The same holds true while traveling, to ensure injury does not happen while exercising.

My current passions are HIIT training, Yoga of all types but especially Power Yoga, Pilates, Boot Camp Classes, TRX Band classes, and Circuit Style Training. I have completed an adventure race (5K), and like to run in 5K's each year for charity.  I like to personally design my programs or classes and allow for the ability to provide modifications for all levels to make sure inclusion is part of the workout.

My future plans include obtaining more fitness certifications and expanding my areas of expertise in exercise and fitness. The more I can offer those around me, the more the world has to offer to myself and my loved ones!
