Alicia Franci

Alicia fell in love with fitness when she hired a trainer herself in 2014 to help her increase her speed on her bike for a cycle event. After several races and her love for cycling grew, she decided she wanted to start a career working in fitness as a group instructor. She became a CPT (Certified personal Trainer) in June of 2016 and began working with clients one one one. Wanting to grow her skill set, she began working under Josh Mesa and training with Mathew Flasher, a certified yoga instructor. Along with her CES, (Corrective Exercise Certification) and what she has learned from both Josh and Matt, she has created a unique blend of functional movement, strength and corrective style workout programs aiding in weight loss, corrective exercises and athletic performance.

Alicia received her degree in Large Animal Science from Fresno State University. She was interested in the food that went into our food chain, particularly the animals that produce the meat we eat. This led into her interested in nutrition as a whole. Having a science based degree, Alicia has been able to use much of her education in transition into human fitness and nutrition. After being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease Alicia has explored how food can be medicine and how nutrition pertains to our whole body health.

Helping to open Elevate Fitness in 2017, Alicia has used the small studio atmosphere to create unique programs such as Elevate Fitness Ladies night, Synergy Small Group and Movement Therapy classes as well as working with clients one on one. Her unique educational background has brought a new perspective on whole body health including what we eat. Her personal journey through living with an autoimmune disease has allowed her to expand the way in which she can help others on their own fitness journeys.
