I am a certified fitness and Yoga instructor who has been teaching for over 30 years. Although I mainly teach Yoga and Pilates, I am trained in teaching step classes, low impact aerobics, sculpting and toning, as well as indoor cycling. I find it a privilege to be a group fitness instructor and love how I can influence people to strive to become healthier and more at ease with their bodies. As an instructor it is extremely important to be a role model, demonstrating how to keep fit and healthy, both mentally and physically. I also make it a goal to deliver the best class I can, each and every time I step in front of my participants.
In addition, I am a Registered Nurse with a Master's Degree in Health Promotion and Primary Prevention. I am passionate about health promotion and have an excellent understanding of health and wellness principles such as physical activity and exercise physiology, healthy eating and nutrition awareness, meditation and stress management.
