Joni’s journey has been blessed, inspired & mentored by many of the most innovative pioneering artists, dancers, athletes & movement scientist of our time.
Most noteworthy are The North Carolina School of the Arts and she holds a BA in Dance Performance from Columbia.
Joni accomplished an impressive 25 year career studying, teaching and performing with various leading edge choreographers while owning, operating and teaching at her privately held Pilates Studio in New York City, as well as, the San Francisco Bay Area.
Joni holds the distinguished honor of being a Simonson Dance Technique Teacher at Dance Space, Inc. in New York City.
She was mentored and certified by Romana Kryzanowska, protege of Joseph H Pilates, Deborah Lesson founder of the PMA,Brent Anderson founder of the Dance & Sports Medicine Clinic at St Francis Hospital in San Francisco and he is the founder of Polestar International. Joni holds certificates from both Sheri Betz and Shelly Power of Polestar International Education.
Joni’s 30 year career in New York City and San Francisco, as a Pilates business owner/teacher/mentor/performer and student of Transcendence Space has enriched her with a gift of immeasurable gratitude & appreciation.
