- Darik Bell
My name is Darik Bell and I'm from a small town right outside of Columbus, Ohio. I graduated from Ohio University where I was extremely involved with the Relay for Life organization, The American Red Cross, played club softball and volleyball, and received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Following graduation, I became a Camp Counselor for the Family YMCA and also landed what I call today, my career in the corporate world. I became a Bell in September of 2016, when I married my high school sweetheart of nearly 9 years. I have 2 rescue dogs, a German Shepherd and Labrador-Doberman, and a rescue Tabby cat. In my spare time I enjoy teaching and practicing yoga, gardening, hiking and traveling. In the last 2 years my husband and I have been to the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Jamaica. We hope to continue our adventures around the Caribbean for many years to come.
I have been doing yoga since I can remember but in the last year decided to take a leap of faith and share my passion with others by getting my teaching certification. I can honestly say it's one of the best things I ever did for myself and my community. I offer a variety of yoga classes all of which encourage students to live in the present moment through breath, meditation, and movement. It's my intention to offer a personal and unique experience by encouraging and providing suggestions and options. I teach to anyone seeking to discover the best version of themselves to take off their mat and into everyday life.
