I am currently focused on the formation of the new generation of engineers using the best pedagogic practices. I am passionate about mechanical design and engineering. My day job for the last 25 years has combined teaching, managing project teams, R&D and product development in the areas of plastic composites, tooling design and polymer processing operations. My second passion is sports, and my favorite sport and the one I've dedicated most of my time is tennis. I have played tennis for more than 30 years. Two years ago, after working as an instructor at our local club in Barrie, Ontario, I decided to get my certificate as an Instructor Level I from Tennis Canada. This is a program that required 6 days of training and a final evaluation that includes practical and theoretical knowledge. I proudly display my Tennis Canada Instructor certificate in my home office. My approach to tennis coaching is based on two main aspects: have fun and focus on those basic areas of the game that produce immediate results. I will make you a better player in very little time, and will give you tools to improve consistently over time.
