Sarah Larmie

Hi!! My name is Sarah Larmie.

I was a registered nurse for 10 years before jumping into the world of personal training. I started on my own fitness journey after the birth of my second son in 2008 (did I mention that I’m the mom of 2 active boys?! I have to stay strong and fit to keep up with them!!) when I was trying to lose my pregnancy weight. I started by adding more regular movement to my days, eventually adding weights and some running, then progressing to writing strength and conditioning programs for myself and a friend (often based on the many fitness magazines I perused regularly) and in 2012 participated in my first road races (a 5 mile run as part of a relay and a half marathon) as well as the Spartan Beast Race at Killington, VT!!

I was officially hooked, and starting to consider adding a personal training certification to my repertoire. Fast forward to the end of 2013, and I was taking over a training business and going full time with this new career!! I have loved every minute of it!!

With my nursing background, I have an extensive knowledge of the human body as well as medical and physical issues that can affect how well it moves and performs. I train clients of all ages, and my goal is to meet you where you are at, and based on your personal goals, help guide you to where you want to be. I believe that being strong and fit has a different meaning for every person I work with - whether it be to keep up with their grandkids, avoid injury while running multiple races per year, or losing weight and fitting better into a favorite pair of jeans...and my goal is to help each client get there.
