I am a family physician who has been doing yoga for the past 15 years. Several years ago I became a certified teacher and enjoy implementing yoga into the care plan for my patients when possible. I am currently advancing my yoga studies by attending a 500 hour yoga teacher training. Though trained in classical Ashtanga yoga, I enjoy instructing in all styles, including gentle, flow, restorative, and yin. I have given workshops in the areas of mindfulness and am passionate about using yoga to stay mentally and physically young. Finally, I am interested in using yoga to treat stress and anxiety and to promote a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle.
