I have worked in the field of Mental Health and Addictions for approximately 28 years. Yoga has been a beautiful way of aligning my values, my body and mind and my spirit. I discovered Yoga approximately eight years ago. I was amazed and curious about how participating in yoga classes seemed to make my mind, body and spirit ‘feel’ afterwards.  My efforts brought a sense of overall peace. I never forgot that feeling.

After some time, I decided to enroll in a 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) in my area.  There is a direct link between having a regular yoga practice and improvement in our mental and physical health. My partner and I travel South twice a year and enjoy meeting other people. I adore animals and have pets at home. Other activities of interest aside from my yoga practice include dancing, reading, cooking, mindful walks in the woods and kayaking for pleasure. We are lucky enough to live near a small lake. :)
