I have been involved in some form of fitness my entire life.  I started young as a dancer and taught jazz, ballet and tap to all ages.  Then I stopped teaching for years and just became a fitness student while I worked full time and raised a family.  When My kids got into high school, I really started to focus on fitness.  My favorite class was a dance fitness class at a local gym in September of 2014.  They only had one teacher and asked me if I would be interested and of course, I said yes!  I immediately became certified to teach Sh'Bam dance cardio fitness.  It uses pop, hip hop, latin (Zumba like), and even a little bollywood dance moves to get heart rates up while having a good time.  Once I got the teaching bug, I added more programs.  I became certified in Gravity (Pilates type machine work out).  I also started teaching a HIIT class, circuit class, aqua, and a boxing/kickboxing class.  I recently added Strong by Zumba and teach this class once a week. During this time -  I found yoga - which is my passion.  I first became certified in Les Mills BodyFlow (October 2016) which is yoga that adds a little Thai Chi and Pilates.  Then I recently completed a 200RYT program for Vraaja (Vinyasa Flow) yoga and am certified with Yoga Alliance. I also added Barre/Pilates May 2019.

I am married with 3 children and live in Central California.  I love to travel to new places and meet new people.  I love helping people reach their fitness goals while making it fun.  I want them to leave my class smiling and enjoying themselves while sweating.  I currently teach about 7-10 classes per week at two different local gyms.  I have been at Total Woman Fit Zone from the beginning - 2014.  I also started teaching Yoga at Back2Back Sports Complex in January 2019.

Thank you,

Kathy
