Dominique MacCalla

I've been a lifelong athlete and fitness lover. Following years in competitive gymnastics and some mixed martial arts training, I decided to take my passion for fitness to the next level and become a certified instructor.

I'm certified by the American Council on Exercise as a Group Fitness Instructor. I also hold a Barre Above barre instructor certificate. I constantly seek new continuing education and new formats to add to my toolkit.

I teach barre, HIIT, Bootcamp, mat Pilates, and more! I'm passionate about fitness and helping everyone achieve their fitness goals, regardless of age or experience level. I can tailor my class to the needs/preferences of any individual or group. I can teach both with or without music. When I do use music, my playlists are carefully curated to perfectly complement the moves and give proven results. My classes are always FUN and easily modified for all experience levels and injury levels.

I can teach both low impact classes and high impact classes, and I love incorporating yoga poses/stretches into my classes regardless of class type. I'm also a yoga practitioner (Bikram, Baptise, vinyasa) and find that my students love yoga principles being incorporated as they see lots of benefits.

My classes can be done with or without equipment. I've taught using resistance bands, Pilates balls, dumbbells, rowers, gliding discs, kettle bells, and more.
