- Donna Meyer
Donna is a 60 year old yoga teacher and exercise enthusiast. She received her degree in Physical Therapy from St Louis University in 1984 and has been practicing as a PT for over 38 years. She currently works at the Kentucky School for the Blind providing Physical Therapy and yoga classes to the visually impaired and developmentally disabled. She also sees private Physical Therapy and Yoga Therapy clients in her home. She recently created an online yoga anatomy curriculum which is used in the registered yoga teacher training program to teach future yoga teacher trainees. She is married to her husband, John, whom she met while playing volleyball together in college. Together they have raised four children. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, and cycling, as well as gardening, cooking and traveling. Although her greatest accomplishment in life centers around her family, she enjoys the travel opportunities that have arisen as her children have moved out on their own. She and her husband strive to plan trips with multiple options for exercise, as fitness is important to both of them. Donna believes that exercise needs to be fun in order to be enjoyed as a lifetime habit and makes a point to try new sports to keep things interesting.
