I took my first yoga class in 1997 while I was in college. I had heard a little about it and how good it made you feel and how relaxed you became at the end of a class. After my first shavasana I was hooked! Yoga has been a part of my life ever since, maybe not at the forefront all these years (I ran half marathons for a while, had two young children), but it was always something that was there either once a week, once a month more often less often, but it was and still is always something I can come back to. I decided to be a yoga teacher after life finally allowed me to have the time to dedicate to the 200HR training. As I said yoga has always been a part of my life and I was longing to be able to share this gift with others. Shortly after receiving my certification I began teaching. It is a wonderful feeling to watch students grow and develop. I can honestly say that I love my job! In addition to being a yoga instructor I have two children. I love spending time in the great outdoors hiking, biking, kayaking and whatever else I can. We enjoy traveling as a family. We recently returned from a wonderful vacation in Iceland. My life is truly blessed and I am forever grateful and humbled to be able to share the gift of yoga with others.
