Carey has practiced Vinyasa yoga consistently for the past five years and earned her 200 hour yoga certification though the accredited YogaWorks. Her instructors, Julie Melk and MacDuff Perkins, taught her the intricacies of yoga philosophy, anatomy, alignment, and movement. While Carey enjoys the practice as a way to stay fit, she also loves the practice for its ability to bring focus and tranquility to the mind and root us down to what is truly important. Her practice is a healthy mix of strength, stretch, and relaxation.
