DJ KindB

Trained as a classical pianist, DJKindB crossed-over into the DJ circuit over 15 years ago.  Starting out in the downtown NYC scene, KindB made a name for himself by playing throughout city- from the hip West Village lounges, to the underground bars of the East Village and the clubs in the Lower East Side. Catering to the broad demographic of any given night, KindB’s style has resulted in a wide range that spans downtempo global electronic music. He could be heard unearthing classic and undiscovered gems from around the world, from Brazilian and Afro-Latin beats to Arabic and Asian grooves.

As a former freelance promoter for Six Degrees Records, and performing as one of the duo of World Class International, KindB DJ’d a successful two year weekly Friday residency at Kush Lounge, one of NYC's hottest lounges.  Currently, for over the past 7 years, KindB has been a regular DJ at K2 Lounge of the Rubin Museum (Himalayan, Tibetan Art) located in Chelsea, New York. 

Also, to his credit, KindB has spun at premiere parties, boutique hotels, fashion shows, yoga classes, and private events for many of New York’s top tastemakers and prominent companies.  He has played everywhere from one of New York’s premier night clubs, Club Love (New Year’s Eve), to a fashion party hosted by Playboy.  KindB’s immaculately crafted flavor is blended into all of his sets, with the mission of providing sound design tailored to the specific environment.
