Maria Browning

Maria Browning has become a significant contributor in the fitness industry through 25+ years as an athlete, a coach, and a fitness trainer. For the past 12 years, Maria has played an integral role in the Zumba Fitness Educational Department, having trained over 60,000 instructors worldwide, choreographed and performed in 11 Zumba Fitness DVDs and traveled the world to perform in Fitness Concerts, Master Classes and performing alongside well known singers in such as Pitbull and Wyclef Jean. She also spends time developing new dance and fitness programs on land as well as in the water environment. 

Maria Browning has revolutionized the Aqua Fitness world by helping Zumba Fitness to develop the Aqua Zumba Program. She has an extensive background in aqua fitness and has been certified as a Group Fitness Instructor through AEA, AFAA and ACE. Born in Colombia, currently based in Miami, Maria Browning is a former synchronized swimmer who represented her country in several championships around the world. She has licensed Aqua Zumba instructors in 35 countries and has trained the Elite group of Aqua Zumba Education Specialists to license instructors worldwide.
