Talya Briana

I have been practicing vinyasa style yoga for 8 years, but more recently began practicing yoga off the mat. Yoga is a transformative experience that has helped me grow physically stronger and more flexible, but also mentally fearless and emotionally centered. Yoga inspires me to be more mindful and calm in every moment of my life. To me, yoga serves as the union between the breath, mind, body, emotions, and spirit. Yoga creates space to release tension and find freedom.

I became certified to deepen my own practice, but found a deep calling to teach as soon as I returned from completing my 200 hour teacher training with Yoga Shala Paros in Greece. I continue to be a student of the practice learning from fellow teachers and personal experience, and sharing this knowledge and growth with you during my yoga classes.

In my classes, I bring this sense of transformation through integrating intentions for physical health, emotional balance, and mental and spiritual clarity. I love to combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help you deepen your practice. I seek to nurture the mind, body, and soul with yoga and meditation with the hope that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, balanced, and inspired in your daily life. As an instructor, I am simply a guide for a short moment on your journey towards complete freedom and self-discovery through embodiment of yoga. I truly wish authenticity and happiness for every individual who shares their practice with me.
