Stephanie comes from a very spiritual family, so it was only natural that she found herself on the path to becoming a yoga teacher. Her first experience in a yoga class in her 20s was not very enlightening. She found herself there only for the physical practice, and connecting breath to movement seemed beyond impossible.
In her 30s, after many years of being part of the corporate culture, she found solace and peace on her yoga mat. As her practice deepened, so did her thirst to learn more about the yogic lifestyle.
In 2018, she started her journey away from corporate life and began her 200-hour training with Kim Saunders at Lift Yoga. In 2024, she completed 500-hour advanced training with Sheila Ewers at Blue Lotus Yoga.
She considers herself a lifelong student and continues to deepen her knowledge with books and training. You can often find her reading in a local coffee shop or taking a yoga class at a studio locally or in a new city or country during her travels.
She embraces all styles of asanas, from sweaty hot power to a chill restorative class. Each class has a nugget or two of yogic wisdom and sometimes humor. Her passion for this ancient practice shines through in each class as she encourages her students to be present for themselves on and off the mat.
