I am Registered Nurse and was an athlete growing up. When my kids went to school I began attending spinning classes and fell in love. I had always wanted to become a spin instructor but felt that I was not the “typical picture” of a fitness instructor. Years later my cousin opened a gym and I was exposed to a multitude of different group fitness classes and I was hooked!  I introduced my husband to group fitness and we began taking classes together and making it a part of our weekly routine. I decided to become a Kettlebell AMPD instructor because I was inspired by the creator, who also wasn’t the typical picture of a fitness instructor. I began teaching and found that people loved my classes and that they could relate to me. That I have struggles just like them. That it’s not about perfection, but about persistence and giving 100%.  Since then I’ve added AMPD Resistance, AMPD Strength and AMPD Burn.   The spring for 2019 I earned an AFAA Group Fitness Certification, a big accomplishment that I am extremely proud of. I eventually also obtained the spinning certification, that I wanted to get all those years ago. My hope is that I inspire others to live their best fit life!
