Jess Purtell

Jess Purtell is an E-RYT 500 through Yoga Alliance and a Balanced Body Pilates Mat Instructor. She leads 200-Hour Yoga Training Program, Mat Pilates for Yogis Program, and has created a Yoga Mentorship Program for yoga teachers.

Jess teaches all level flow and Pilates classes and is the Creative Director of Pilates for Yogis.  She is strongly influenced by the alignment-based Iyengar method of yoga and Sadie Nardini’s Core Strength Vinyasa style.  

Jess has been practicing yoga since the late 1990s and completed her 200-hour certification in 2010.  She is passionate about sharing all aspects of yoga with all those she meets. 

Jess has over 7,500 hours of teaching and an additional 800 hours of training.
