Hi! In 1996, a friend of mine dragged me to my first group fitness class. I had committed to a month-long membership and was going to make the best of it. My first few classes were awful, but I stuck in there. A month later I had started to feel more energized so I extended my membership. It was a life-changing moment. A year later, I had lost considerable weight (+100 lbs!!) and looked very different. That same friend recruited me to begin instructing group fitness classes. So began my passion for teaching group fitness!
I completely understand how hard it can be to start something new, but I also know how rewarding it can be. I am an advocate for a balanced, healthy lifestyle. My goal is to create a welcoming class where participants at all levels feel empowered.
