Rochelle joined EXYGON Health & Fitness in February 2019, after completing her STRONG NATION certification in October 2018. She loves teaching and taking other Group Fitness classes at EXYGON. Rochelle received her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Louisiana State University and a bachelor’s degree in Medical Dosimetry from the University of Texas M.D. Anderson School of Health Professionals. When she is not at the gym she works as a Senior Analytical Chemist for one of the largest oil and gas refineries in North America.
To Rochelle, exercise is an important and meaningful part of daily living. Although our schedules are busy, she believes exercise should be incorporated to become routine. Rochelle is a firm believer that exercise can prevent health problems and improve quality of life and she looks forward to helping everyone achieve their fitness and lifestyle goals. Rochelle’s love of fitness started at an early age with competitive dancing and team sports. Ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, gymnastics, and hip-hop were a part of her daily routine starting at the age of 2. She continued to dance throughout her college years as a member of the LSU Tiger Girls Basketball Dance Team. In high school she long and triple jumped, and ran the 4X400 m, and the 4X200 m relays.
In her free time, Rochelle can be found exploring the world and all the amazing food it has to offer, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and running the occasional 5k. Fun fact: Rochelle has purple hair and loves to snorkel.
