Roxana Horna

Born and raised in Lima-Peru. Moved to Canada in 2002.

Roxana has been teaching Zumba for over 9 years. She took her first Zumba class in 2009 and fell in love. It was like being back home, dancing to Latin music again! A few months later she obtained her Zumba license, and has been teaching ever since.

Her style of teaching is all about feeling the music, having fun, letting loose, and getting fit without being overly concerned about whether you’re doing it right or wrong. Roxana enjoys using her immense passion for dance to motivate students of all ages to achieve their fitness goals through the exciting rhythms of Latin and international dance.

She also has had the privilege to teach Zumba in elementary schools. She is involved in her local community, spreading the Zumba love and bringing awareness of healthy living and lifestyle change.

Roxana is a wife and mother of 2 wonderful boys. She loves spending time with family and friends, hiking, travelling, camping, exploring new places, relaxing on beautiful sunny days.
