Gabriel B. Jacob, a tennis instructor for more than 30 years, began his tennis career in junior high school and has played and won many tournaments and collegiate matches. Gabriel holds a Elite Professional rating in the USPTA and has been a member for more than 27 years. He is self-employed as a private contractor at the Redlands Country Club in Redlands, California and is director of the Redlands Youth Tennis program. He runs various programs, including private, semi-private and group lessons for children and adults. Gabriel previously coached the San Bernardino Valley College women's tennis team, which came in as high as second place in the Foothill Conference, and the Head Men's coach at Cypress College. He was a member of the professional management team at Rancho Mediterranean Racquet Club where he supervised and participated in on-court teaching and established leagues, clinics and social events for members. He also owned and operated the pro shop, covering all phases of operation, including marketing and promotions. He is a member of the HEAD/Penn national advisory staff. From 2008-2010 he was President of the 5th District of Southern California USPTA. In 2010 he became Second Vice President of the Southern California USPTA Executive Board. His formal education includes an associate in applied science degree in aviation management from Community College of the Air Force, an associate in arts in business administration from Crafton Hills Community College, a bachelor of arts in business administration from California State University San Bernardino and a master of science in physical education from Azusa Pacific University.
