I was born in Mexico many, many years ago. Always loving music, performing arts, and Dance. During my teen years I became increasingly interested in fitness and sports and have since practiced and participated in physical activity.
After I moved to Canada with my family, I decided that it would be a great idea to share my love for dance and music through fitness and that is when I first got certified as a Zumba instructor. I have had wonderful experiences and met amazing and kind people through my dance-fitness endeavors.
I have two daughters, one in grade 7 and the little one in grade 4. Their father and I are separated but we are best friends and roommates so the girls can have access to both parents and our little out-of-the-box family works this way. We even go on vacations together and share expenses.
I love to travel, to meet new people, and trying new things. I love adventure, when I was 13 I went to Toronto in an exchange program and learned English at the same time; my last year in university I studied for a semester in France, this helped me to perfect my French and that Summer I backpacked through several European cities and met so many interesting people in the markets, museums, on bus rides, on the street, everywhere.
After we got permanent resident status in Canada and started a better paying job, I made a bucket list of travel and experiences and my goal is to cross at least one item in my list per year. So far it has worked and in two years I have crossed four items already, I feel so happy right now. My next item for 2019-2020 is about getting certified as a Personal Trainer, exciting and so good for my fitness career.
