Why did you start practicing and decide to teach?
Working within Athletic Training I developed my passion for injury prevention, biomechanics and working with others to help them achieve their goals by keeping them healthy and moving at their most efficient level.

I started to teach because I couldn’t create my vision of wellness and movement in any realm other than within the Pilates method. My personal practice in Pilates has helped me reconnect with myself. Understanding my body, rebuilding the mind and body connection I have been able to move better, think clearer, grow stronger and live my life more efficiently since I began.

I love working with others and helping them rediscover themselves, achieve their goals, make personal connections and enrich their lives.

What’s your personality?
I am light hearted and straight forward. I deeply care about my clients and look at all of them holistically— I care about their wellness as a whole not just what we do when we exercise. Getting to know you body can be challenging, sobering and a rebuilding experience. I am there with you every step of the way and strive to create a safe space for all to explore their move- ment journey.

What’s your teaching style and approach?
As a teacher, I education, instruct, lead and guide with a direct approach.

My goal is to get you moving - during that movement I will educate, correct and critique for you to regain control over your body and build it to live the life you want to lead. I look at everyone from a rehabilitation standpoint no matter why you may be coming to do Pilates or any other format I teach.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not teaching?
When not teaching Pilates I like to bake, travel, snuggle with my cats, continue my education and dabble in makeup artistry.

What is your underlying philosophy?
Moving your body and challenging your mind will lead you to the state of being in good health.
