My name is Theresa Struck, I am the owner and head trainer at Struck Fitness. I am certified as a personal trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine with a Corrective Exercise Specialty. (NASM-CPT, CES) I also have a certification in Nutritional Coaching with Precision Nutrition. I am a lifelong fitness and health geek, training for several Half Marathons, Sprint Triathlons and the challenges of everyday life. I work full time building my business and have 4 children. So, I get it, I get how difficult it can be to find time to be healthy. I also get how completely intimidating fitness, exercise, and healthy eating can be. I think it's my job to make it fun and simple.
I teach over 20 boot camp style classes each week- and I am committed to making it fun, challenging, and different every single day. My specialty is Metabolic workouts that include plenty of functional exercise in a HIIT format. This helps you build strength for everyday tasks and burn calories long after you’ve left the gym. Don’t be fooled by my small stature. My Jersey Girl comes out during classes and she makes sure everyone gives it 110%!
Let me give you my personal philosophy on exercise. Exercise doesn’t have to be about being a size Zero. Not everyone who exercises does it to look like a bikini model. Exercise for me is about self-confidence and feeling powerful and strong and sometimes feeling like a badass. Like you can conquer anything. Extra muscles, sleeping better, flexibility, stamina, a flatter tummy, looser clothes, those are all just wonderful benefits of working out regularly.
