I started practicing yoga in 2010 on Saturdays when I had free time, then I started practicing after work, then before work and I kept making more and more time for my practice until everything else came second. In doing so I saw that my life was transforming for the better. I wasn't just practicing the poses, but I was approaching daily activities and responsibilities with a newfound mindset all powered by my initial asana practice.
In 2015 I decided to further my dedication to yoga and completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Health Yoga Life in Boston. I learned not only about traditional poses and flow, but also about the anatomy behind the postures, nourishing your body and mind, meditation, chakras, and yoga for life rather than yoga purely for fitness. It was truly the best gift I could have ever given myself.
I believe in and I have witnessed what developing a yoga practice on and off the mat can do for mind, body, and spirit. My classes challenge both your physical body and your habitual thought patterns. I teach to all levels and encourage all students to nurture their growing edge. Yoga is for everybody and every body.
