I have been focused on health and wellness for 48 years. It started in middle school with my love for cross country running. Over the past 30 years, I have been committed to group wellness, as a participant in Boot Camps; marathon running; kick-boxing; weight training; cycling; aqua fitness and yoga. After practicing yoga for 3 years, I suffered back injuries and after being told by my doctors that I shouldn’t practice anymore, I decided to become certified. I wanted to learn specific modifications that would allow me to care for my body, while maintaining my passion for the yoga practice. I was certified in 2018 and have been teaching a “Gentle Yoga” practice, utilizing props, 2-3 days per week, giving people of all ages, the ability to move their bodies, in a way that is best for themselves personally.
