Laela Zandkarimi

Hi! I'm Laela, and I am so happy to be here! Oh, where to begin?! I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, and I resided in the lovely peach state until my recent move across the country to Los Angeles, CA. It was a life-changing move, as I uprooted my entirety and left everything and everyone I have always known to make the trek to the wonderful world of California with the man I love and our two fur babies. It has certainly been a transformative experience, and I think I have grown more in the past 6 months than in the past 10 years! Talk about stepping out of your comfort zone! I am having a blast exploring this lovely state, trying new yoga studios and meeting new communities, tasting delectable dishes at new restaurants, and simply enjoying the perfect weather with my dogs.

Now, to the fun stuff...

I have always been a lover and believer of self expression. As a child and through my early 20s, I expressed myself through the dactylic art of dance - ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, etc. As my passion grew for self improvement, self exploration and inspiring other people, I transitioned into the transformational practice of yoga. Like for so many others, yoga touched my life in countless ways; opening doors to self study, letting what doesn't serve me go, facing fears and overcoming them, and growing more patient and compassionate with not only myself, but for others. My yoga journey has altered my life in beautiful ways, and with excitement I am able to extend my passion for self improvement by inspiring others through the practice of yoga by guiding people to create poetry with their bodies.
