As a life-long fitness enthusiast I have a strong background in ballet and ballroom dance, and acquired a certificate with the International Dance Exercise Association (IDEA) in 1996. A deep interest of anatomy and physiology took place during that time, so my practice, both personal and as an instructor, stem from that knowledge. First and foremost I instruct with safety and comfort for my students. I encourage stability over flexibility as we move slowly, deliberately, mindfully and with purpose. I teach mostly Vinyasa Flow but am able to ascertain the needs of the group and modify as needed. I’m comfortable with Yin, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, and Meditation as well. |
Actually born in 1956, but couldn't keep selecting the back key through 63 years.
