I began my personal fitness journey after my chiropractor recommended that I begin resistance training to help strength the muscles around my spine. After my first workout, I fell in love with fitness and during my fourth year in college - I was studying to become a Math teacher - I changed majors to Exercise Science.
I believe that the biggest thing lacking for most "gym goers" is education. I bring my education background to each session to help ensure that the client is not only working towards his or her goals but acquiring the knowledge to have a successful workout without me. I carry that idea over into a group setting by making sure each participant has an individual workout in a group setting.
Outside of my fitness career, I enjoy Stand-Up Paddleboarding, attending concerts, and spending time with Memphis - my Aussie Shepard.
