Yoga blurb.

I am happily teaching yoga after many years of personal practice. I enjoy the process of sharing yoga to support physical health & personal growth. 

 

My story. 

I started practicing yoga in 2002 when living in California. I was at a point when I was stressed out, physically drained from work & on top of that I travelled often for months at a time with my job. I was away from friends & family, lacked routine & was close to burn-out. I had always gone to the gym for exercise but knew that yoga offered more than just working muscles. I tried a couple of classes but it wasn’t until the third one, in a little hut on a beach on Oahu, that something inside me lit up – literally, I felt lighter & calmer with a whole new understanding of movement. I was all in. I don’t know where I’d be without yoga – it has seen me through tough times, kept me strong, steady & grounded. My practice continues to evolve & gives me just what I need, when I need it.

I have practiced many styles of yoga over the years, Kundalini, Iyenga, Ashtanga, yin & hatha, but there has always been a common thread for me – yoga offers a powerful way to bring the body, mind & spirit back in to balance.
