I am a certified STOTT Pilates instructor who found Pilates after having my second child. Hoping to use Pilates to get back into my pre-baby shape I realized it was so much more than that. I practiced Pilates for a number of years, experiencing it as a client before deciding to become an instructor. After seeing how many people injure themselves doing competitive sports, intensive fitness programs and working physically straining jobs I realized how Pilates can help by balancing opposing muscle groups, creating symmetry in the body and improving strength and balance. Over my career, I have worked with different types of clients including pre and post natal, clients with low back pain, shoulder, knee, and hip issues. I’m so fascinated with how functional Pilates movements are and very passionate to share my personal results and experience with my clients.
Here is what I can help you with…
- Improve pelvic floor health
- Cross-train to improve your performance in sports (running, soccer, martial arts just to name a few)
- Strengthen core to release tight low back
- Improve balance and flexibility
When I’m not in the gym or doing Pilates I love nature and outdoors - running the trails or hiking with my family. Also love to read books about personal development, business, fiction, and knitting on my couch.
