I became interested in health and fitness while I was in high school. I was apart of the gymnastics team at one point, but stopped when I became more interested in weight training. After high school I joined a gym and continued learning about increasing my strength through weight training. When I turned 23 I decided to become a personal trainer with New York Sports Clubs. I was certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). In a period of 8 months of starting, I became one of the top trainers at my fitness center of 6000 members. Five months later I rose to the top position of Master Trainer within New York Sports Clubs organization, because of my specialty using the Pilates Reformer. My style of training ranges from client to client dependent upon their needs. I train people using free weights as well as machines, their own body weight, or resistance bands. Other clients may need more balance training, so I am proficient at the use of the BOSU trainer and other balancing equipment. I also execute sports specific training for clients interested in golf, cycling, or racquet sports. I am currently attending college majoring in Sports Medicine. I am also in the process of becoming a NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist.
