Besides being a yoga teacher, I am a wife and mother of 2 boys who are my world. I enjoy staying active whether it’s playing in the yard with my kids, weight training, exploring state parks, and of course yoga. I also am a food lover :) I love to travel and try new foods.
I discovered my love for yoga about 4 years ago. I was working on losing the baby weight from my second son and started lifting weights and then realized I needed to also stretch my muscles so I started doing yoga at home. It quickly became much more than just the physical benefits. Yoga became a way of life and a passion for me. Also I didn’t realize it at the time but yoga helped me overcome post partum depression. To me, yoga is a gift and I love to share it with others. I have completed my 200 hour training, I am registered with the yoga alliance and I currently teach several classes a week. An interesting fact about me is that I am half Peruvian and speak Spanish fluently.
