After a decade of enjoying a successful dance career, Melinda made the natural transition into the fitness industry. She has been leading group fitness classes & training clients privately since 2009. During this time, she’s had the opportunity to work closely with several high-profile boutique fitness studios & A-list celebrities.
She has taught a variety of cardiovascular & strength training programs from dance cardio, barre, urban rebounding, TRX, circuit training, Pilates, yoga & diverse toning/sculpting classes. Melinda holds numerous certifications with NASM as a Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise & Fitness Nutrition Specialist, Yoga Alliance RYT-200, AFFA, TRX, Barre, & Pilates Basic Mat. She was recognized by Washingtonian Magazine as one of the “Top 8 Trainers to Whip You Into Shape.”
Melinda created emBODYment 360, a fusion fitness program that combines her extensive dance background with the vast knowledge she has gained through studying various fitness forms. She’s dedicated to helping her clients transform mind, body & spirit by connecting into their bodies on a different level, for long-lasting results. Melinda is thrilled to bring her method to a broader audience, continuing to share her love & passion for health, fitness & dance with others around the world.
