Gizelle Merced

Eight years ago Gizelle's dance skills and love for the sport led her to manage a top Maryland ballroom dance studio and became a DVIDA certified dance instructor. After being introduced to LaBlast dance fitness a few years ago, Gizelle fell in love with the program and got certified in all formats – LaBlast Fitness, Line Dancing, and Splash; and soon became an “Elite” LaBlast instructor and was awarded LaBlast Fitness' highest honor, “2019 LaBlast Instructor of the Year!" She uses this program to provide students the freedom and space to express themselves in a no judgment zone with a focus on having FUN! She is an AFAA certified group fitness instructor, an MC and DJ, and has performed with the USA Pro Am Dance Team doing Latin and hip/hop inspired numbers during the halftime show at NBA and WNBA games.
