I have been on a journey of getting healthier spiritually, emotionally and more importantly, physically for a few years now. Pilates was the start of that journey for me. I used to have chronic neck and shoulder pain, mostly due to poor posture, weak core muscles from two pregnancies. I started Pilates sessions and very shortly after, I not only felt, but was able to see an incredible difference in my body. As my body started to heal from the correction, my pain started to decrease significantly. It didn’t take long for me to realize that I wanted to make a career out of Pilates, not only for the betterment of myself but for others to experience exactly how I felt and still feel now. A life with minimal pain, a body that I can feel proud of and an inner self that has deepened in more ways than I can describe. For one of the first times in my life I made myself a priority because I was worth it! For those of you that have been on this journey with me in getting healthy, I just want to encourage you and let you know that you are also worth it. The journey can be tough and some days you just want to give up, but I guarantee you will not regret diving into Pilates and experiencing, truly, a life changing experience through mind, body and soul. You are powerful and loved more than you know!
