I'm a certified yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance (200HR RYT) I've been on my personal yoga journey for over fifteen years. I received my teacher training in Koh Samui, Thailand with The Yoga Mat School (RYS Yoga Alliance). I have studied and taught a variety of yoga styles including: Hatha, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Yin, Kundalini and Ashtanga. I’ve also studied meditation and have prepared and presented meditation classes, experiencing the benifits of it as part of a daily practice.
I'm currently offering private lessons where we can focus on helping develop your own personal yoga practice. It's often difficult to get one on one attention in a class setting, and our bodies are very specific as to flexibility and strengthening needs. I look forward to helping you begin your personalized yoga journey.
Mindful medition combined with breathing awareness, trains the mind to attain a more mentally clear and emotionally calm state. When practiced daily, meditation has proven to reduce stress, depression, anxiety, and pain, while improving our sense of peace and well being.
