Dalit Agronin, a native Texan, graduated magna cum laude in 2016 from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA where she received a BA in Dance and Psychology.
Dalit is a RYT 300- hour Vinyasa- based instructor in New York City. She is a professional dancer and choreographer as well as Certified Personal Trainer. She uses her dance and training experiences to help bring music, detail to alignment and injury prevention in her classes. Dalit builds classes around theme, peak poses and body awareness. She teaches virtually yoga, strength and HIIT through the 92nd st Y and through her own online platform.
Dalit has been making her own work for the past three years in NYC. In her first year of choreographing, her work was showcased as part of the Lehigh Valley Dance Festival in Bethlehem, PA. It was also shown in NYC through NACHMO and The Creators Collective, at venues such as the Tank, the Actors Fund, Triskelion Arts, and Hudson Guild Theatre. In the fall of 2018 she began working on developing a new piece which was shown through "mouthfull" at Center for Performance Research and “Moving Men of Dance” at Dixon Place. In the spring of 2019 Dalit premiered a new work as part of a Split Bill Show with Between the Seas Dance Festival. Excerpts of this piece were performed in fall 2019 as part of Your Move:NJ’s Modern Dance Festival. In fall 2019 Dalit also created her first dance film, and had a six-week choreographic residency with MotionArtsDanceStudio in Maplewood, NJ. Most recently Dalit created her second dance film during quarantine for Dixon Place’s online festival.
