I have been an RMT for 25 years, and a Pilates Matwork Instructor for 4 years. I took my Pilates training through Body Harmonics located in Toronto, Canada. I teach a 60+ group of ladies, 3 times per week. I don't have a website or FB page anymore, because my space is limited and none of my clients every leave, so I just found it easier not to have to tell clients no.
In my matwork class I use props such as the magic circle, blocks, pilates ball (small) and foam rollers. With my RMT certifications I have to keep up to date with my CPR C and First Aid, and am also constantly taking continuing education in many aspects of body work. I also facilitate a meditation class after one Pilates class per week.
I am 55 years old, married with 3 children (1 still at home). In my spare time I love to craft: sewing/quilting, knitting, scrapbooking and wood crafts. I workout daily on my rebounder and walking my 2 dogs. I follow a Whole Foods Plant Based lifestyle, strictly for the last 2 years, and most vegan prior to that. I watch every documentary I can get my hands on for health/plant based eating/meditation and am very interested in the mind body connection.
